NHS Resident Doctor Strike Action
As you may be aware, planned strike action is as follows: From 7am Friday 25 July to 7am Wednesday 30 July.
- During strike action the NHS is still here for people who need it.
- If you need medical help or advice, or you are unsure about whether you should go to hospital, go to NHS 111 – unless it is a life-threatening emergency when you should always call 999.
- Please attend your appointments as normal unless you have been contacted by the NHS. If you have missed an appointment, please re-book and come forward for the care you need.

During the strike
Starting on Friday 25 July and until Wednesday 30 July, some services will be affected due to strike action. Please continue to attend appointments unless you are contacted and told otherwise.
During the resident doctor strike GP practices will continue to be open. Please attend your GP and dental appointments unless you are contacted and told otherwise.
